Atomic Kitten - Ipswich, March 2002

Hi, I am hugggggggggeeeeeee atomic kitten fan and on Christmas day when I am opened my main present I was extremely excited because I was going to have a chance in a lifetime to see my favourite band, Atomic Kitten perform live. My sister and our friend, also Atomic Kitten fans, received tickets as well. We all knew this would be a night none of us would ever forget.

Once we arrived at the theatre souvenirs and lights etc were being sold! We all went into the theatre found our seats (we were quite near the front,) and waited for the Kittens. It seemed as if we had been waiting for ever but when the concert started it was absolutely great!!!! To start the evening off A female artist called Kiara Hunter and two male dancers performed a couple of songs to warm us up!

Eventually the lights were switched of and an extraordinary band, (fat cats) entered the stage. Once they had found their seats an r'n'b version of Right Now was performed! The fat cats were then silent and so was the audience. Not for long though!!!! And then came the moment every one was waiting for BOOM the Kittens were coming on stage from all directions wearing amazing outfits! The crowd was screaming and whistles were being blown!!!!

I think that my favourite song was ‘You Are’. The Kittens performed it absolutely great. I especially like the way that they all sat on beanbags and sang it. I loved their new song ‘It’s OK’ as it has a great tune to it and the video is brilliant! Then the Kittens sung their last song Boo.

Everyone wondered what on earth was going on the Kittens had just left! Was this the end? No, the Kittens ran back on stage and finished with the amazing Whole Again. Once the Kittens had finally said their good-byes it was time to go home!

The concert was a great night to all, young and old especially me. I hope that I will have the chance to meet the Kittens again!!!!
